Avoid
Sitting for a long duration on hard surface. Eating dry food. Smoking. Putting pressure during defecation. Eating Non-Vegetarian food. Consumption of canned food. Afternoon nap (diseased, aged and children are exempted). Eating stale food. Anal coitus. Usage of Sesame and Mustard.
Do the following things...
- Drink lots of water (avg. 5 lts/day)
- Consume green leafy vegetables and fruits which add roughage
- Maintain Oral and Anal hygiene

Sitz Bath
Boil "Thriphala Choorna" or grated radish in water and pour this water in a tub. Take Sitz bath when water is luke warm.
Medicinal Liquids
- Add dry ginger powder and jaggery to pomegranate juice and drink twice daily
- Mix 1/2 glass of sour pomegranate juice, 2 tsp of ginger juice, 2 tsp jaggery and 1/2 cup of buttermilk, this has to be consumed twice daily
- Buttermilk should be consumed at least twice daily
